It is easy and normal to begin feeling like winter will never end. One of my friends said she was getting “shack wacky”.  That pretty much sums it up for many people.  Winter can’t last forever. On the bright side we approach spring with great anticipation. The days get longer and warmer. We enjoy watching baby animals being born, flowers are breaking through the ground (sometimes even the snow), we turn our sprinklers on and watch the grass turn green. As Anne Bradstreet said, "If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant." It is hard to beat sunshine and fresh air.

I recently spent several days in Denver babysitting our granddaughters. I saw a poster for Summer Rules and immediately created one for them to hang on the wall. Some of you may have seen it since it was on Facebook however, if we change the words I think we could create a similar poster that is great whether it is winter, spring, summer or fall. Our world is quickly changing around us so what can each of us do to make it a better place? Here is the original poster followed by the one I created. Nothing is set in stone so feel free to change it up (or down). Here goes:
